This piece happened to be 2 3/8" x 2 3/4", but it really doesn't matter what size your cardstock is, it can be a random size and it will work. I use the punches upside down when punching so that I can see where I am.
Punch the two corners first, then line up the border punch - again using it upside down - with the scallops you just punched.
Then, cut the last two corners and punch again with the border the same way you have done on the opposite side.
Linda Heller from Stamping School.com has a great tutorial. She is using the pinking hearts punches, but the technique is the same.
Let me know how you make out .
