Cindy challenged us with an all white teapot today. I think Abner and I could get along really well, accept that he is made of snow and I am so tired of snow that I am going to scream. Had to shovel 8 inches off of my driveway yesterday. I'm so sore today!!! We do share a longing for color though so for today Abner and I have something in common. Cindy challenged us to have a white background and add a little color. I really tried to do that, but the color wouldn't stay off of it. I justified it by the fact that I started with a white piece of cardstock to make this card. No colored cardstock. I inked, brayered, chalked, markered and prisma colored all of the color you see. This is also for the olympic color challenge. I did event # 5 with my gold dessert being the little bit of gold glitter in the centers of the flowers.
This card was also a combination of my last 2 cards.
I am have a tutorial on my blog for making the dogwood flowers. Check it out... Mississippi McGyver. Warning... I have music on my blog.
Cindy you said NO SNOWFLAKES, so I guess I am going to have to come in the back door. You don't see the snowflakes? They are the centers of my flowers.

What a beautiful scene! Love the (snowflake) dogwoods! I was just thinking yesterday that ours should be starting to bloom soon! They always seem to know right when it is Easter time!

More of your lovely dogwood - and a lovely spring scene. So we haven't had too much white here (it snowed most of today, but melted almost as fast as it fell) but it was grey, grey, grey.
I have been looking at your blog. Previously had noticed lots of gorgeous "porcelain" butterflies on your cards and I wondered how you did them so today I decided to see if you had a tutorial. How incredible ! Your tutorials are the easiest to follow that I have ever seen ! I will definitely be following your beautiful work and your blog in the future. Love the music, too. Thank you.

I wish this scene was outside my window today. It is another dreary cold and gray day of winter. No snow, but gloomy looking days. Your scene brings me hope!!!
