I had so much fun browsing the Lark store, and finally chose this beret as my inspiration piece. I've been admiring all the layered flowers I've been seeing in the gallery lately, so this really inspired me to give it a try.
I layered kraft on kraft, piercing the edges and adding faux stitching with a gel pen. The flowers looked a little plain all by themselves, so I added the kraft gingham ribbon behind them. In hindsight, I realize I should have embossed the sentiment to make it show up better. Oh well, next time.
Thanks Stef for another awesome inspiration site!

This is so very pretty, and just pops with beautiful color. That white on kraft is tricky, it seems to dry up and disappear all on it's own...maybe a white gel pen to accent the words?
