This is my card for IC220 which was to find something inspiring on the LARK website. I found something immediately and then I found something else, and then I found something else. About that time I had to take a break, do some cooking and stop myself from thinking I have to make six cards today.
I ended up being inspired by all the patterened tights and finally chose the daisies here.
I found I don't OWN a single piece of gray paper - and that doesn't bother me one bit! I do have a lot of Basic Grey and found some of that I could use.
Bottom layer is Vintage Violet and it's also the border under the tan. Then I added Basic Grey dp and a strip of Best Occasions mat stack on which I stamped Making Memories daisies.
The butterfly is stamped directly on the Basic Grey, then stamped again on the Best Occasions CS, cut out and popped up.
Parts of the daisies are colored with a brown Marvy marker and thin twine is wrapped around. Sentiment is unmarked stamp. Thanks for looking. I would love to hear what you think.

Ha! You sound like me today, Carol!! I had a list of 6 or eight to make, then stopped to make chili for company tonight that just cancelled, and ended up making two cards. I love these colors, the butterflies and flowers with the gems!!

Oh. I wanted to tell you I almost did a case of your card where you drew the hat for the Gibson Girl, and put the big flowers on it....there is a card in the CARD section of Lark that made me think of it....and it was RED, black and white!!! LOL!

I almost did those tights or the ones with the owl! This is gorgeous - love your colors here. I also have those MM stamps and have yet to use them - thanks for the inspiration!
