Had some supplies left over on my table.....Okay, I always have stuff left over on my table but this time I actually used some of them. Like the orange and blue color combo. Anyway, here the what and how's on this card.....
I was originally going to use this for yesterday's card, but ended up with a different image. So today, I used it. The happy hippo and his little friend were colored with copics. Cut out using a friskar oval. Did some faux stitching after I sponged the edges, and layered with blue linen cs.
The necklace is from Curt. He has gone into the necklace making business. Guess he has given up the stunt job and balloon flying thing. (check out Teapot Tuesdays if your are confused)
Used two new punches today. Thanks Silvia for giving us all permission to go buy new punches if we needed them. Only problem is, I don't need them! Okay, I wanted them so I got them. hehe
Put my scene on misc dotted dp then on white cs sponged sunset orange. Added the ribbon to the oval that happy hippo is on, popping the oval up.
All this went on a white card that I doodled the edges. Made a tiny bow with the bow easy put it on the card and that just about wraps it up. Hope you like this.....TFS :0)

Oh Sistah, you sooo 'needed' that bird border punch! Yes, definitely! It is so perfect here. Cathy, your scraps are wonderful! Bet that table feels like Disneyland. I love Curt's necklace reused. Beautiful faux stitching too. Wonderfully fun card Mutnik. Hugs, Buttnik

This is such an adorable card. Love the necklace!!! Even hippos look cute with jewelry!! That must have been one great friendship you developed with Curt during his rescue in Tahoe. I am sure his new career in jewelry making was sparked by your influence during your visit with him. He should be sending you a big thank you card......more happy mail for you, sis. Too cute.
hugs,
