I needed to make a card for an uncle's retirement party.
The card is for him...but I think my aunt will get a chuckle out of it too.
I stamped the image then used chalk on the background. That done, I erased the chalk that smeared into my image.
Colored the image with Prisma pencils and blended with stumps and Turpenoid.
I used Versamark to stamp fishing lures all over the green cs, but they barely show in the photo.
I sponged ink on the edges of the image. I rubbed green chalk on white cs and stamped the verse, then sponged ink on the edges of that as well.
Inked all around the green cs too.
I used stick on silver dots on each side of the verse to take up space.
Inside the card I cut a piece of white cs a quarter inch smaller than the green cs. I stamped "Congratulations on your retirement", sponged ink on the edges and then attached it.
I stamped a fishing lure with the same Dusty Lime ink on the front, bottom right corner of the envelope.
