This weeks CAS challenge called for a clean and simple card and the theme of wishing for spring... like many, we've been deep in snow for months and i'm certainly wishing for spring!
i decided to do a mother's day card. I don't often do transparency cards, so decided to stretch myself and make a CAS card with a transparency card base.
I used Bloomin Beautiful as my stamp set. I used my big shot to create the scallop circle middle. The card stock was folded over and I ran it thru my BS and left the top of the card connected and not scalloped. that allowed me to feed it inside the transparent card base as one piece.
The flower was stamped in StazOn. I then used my paper snips and cut the pot from the flower. I embossed the flower pot. I water colored the flowers and added half pearls
to assemble the card. I attached the pot to the top of the certainly celery. i then adhered the certainly celery inside the transparent base. making sure i glued where the flowers would be - therefore hiding the glue.
I glued the flowers and the been on the outside of the transparent card base.
