When I saw Julia's challenge to use orange, I thought I knew right away what I would do. I love my monarch butterfly stamp and I use orange with it all the time. Then I thought where's the challenge with that. I decided to use this yummy orange dp that my secret sister at church gave me for Christmas. It still needed a butterfly, so I stamped this butterfly from my Layers of Color butterfly set. I then added some coloring to make it look like an ORANGE SULPHUR butterfly. I used yesterday's sketch challenge. I had all the panels together, and it still felt like something was missing so I decided to add black mats to each panel. I added black MS glitter to the centers of the flowers and added little pearls. What do you think?
Thanks for the challenge Julia!

Your card takes orange to a new level! The black layering really sets off the dp so nicely. You really do know a lot about butterflies. Is this this a recent interest or one you have had for a long time?

The yellow butterfly is really striking with the orange. Great job, MariLynn!
