This card was made for There She Goes Clear Stamps' color challenge to use red, pink and brown. I stamped the tree stump in Burnt Umber and the envelope outline with Noir and colored in the envelopes with Copic Markers and distressed the edge of the center circle a little. I could not find my linen thread so settled for Martha Stewart's baker's twine in brown instead. I thought the card needed a little something more so I built up on the image's envelope idea with a mini envelope created with McGill's envelope punch. Then I created a little faux note and attached a self-adhesive heart. Inside is stamped "Sending you love" - perfect for my hubby while he is still overseas. I know it is on the simple side, but my husband prefers simple looking cards.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card.

This is so sweet, Meredith!! A super CAS card. I really like how you used the brown baker's twine. But my favorite part is that little envie!!! You made that with a punch???? I had no idea that such a thing existed!! I have *got* to look into that. I used a little pre-made Martha Steward tag envelope on a card yesterday (and I love the idea of using little envies!!), but the scale was all wrong. The envelope you made is just perfect!! And I love the bling-y little note you included. Fantastic!!

Well done! Love how you used the envy punch to echo the theme of the stamp!
