This is my very first challenge I've taken part in, I had great fun! Great to try out new layouts. It did take a while with the quilled elements but I like the end result.
On plain cream card I added a section of red paper on the right hand side (about 2/3's of the card). I repeat stamped the text 'a lifetime of love' vertically on the remaining cream section in true red ink. On a separate piece of cream card I stamped a large doily stamp twice in brown. I let these dry and cut them out, I then picked out some details and painted these using red watercolor paint on one of the hearts. I scored the centre of the heart vertically. I made some quilled closed coils and s-shapes in red quilling paper. I added these along with some flat backed pearls to the centre of the heart. I glued one of the hearts to the centre of the card and then added the decorated heart on top of this. To finish I added some quilled hearts of varying sizes to two of the corners with some pearls and I glued three red bows to the heart.
