I love collaging and I like to start with the scraps on the table! The BG piece was one I brayered on a couple of days ago. I had liked the way it looked and was saving it to put on a card. I bought the wooden U in a pack on clearance for a quarter or something like that. The wooden U looks better IRL--I used a NQN marker to color the edges. Then used Bermuda Bay DTP (only it was wood) to color it in a distressed kind of way. Then I used the Frost White Shimmer paint on top of the Bermuda Bay. Because of the unsealed wood grain it soaked in and blended with the Bermuda Bay. Looks really cool!
The whole card looks very cool and fit for a teenager IRL.

So beautiful!!! I love your blend of colors--that bermuda bay really makes everything pop. That big U (nicely colored!) and the perfectly selected fibers look terrific!! I'd say you nailed this collage challenge bang on the head. Nice work
