This is my story:
It seems that Alicia's brother Curt followed her to Hollywood to become a stunt actor. Johan, his special effects coordinator, talked him into his latest stunt: he had to jump over the moon! When he tried to jump over the moon, he got stuck because he is just too small to make it all the way over. While he was stuck there, he met Quentin. They had a heart-to-heart talk, and Curt realized that he really isn't cut out to be a stunt man. Even tho Quentin is really weird looking, Curt has lived in Hollywood long enough that he wasn't too freaked out by his appearance. So, with Quentin's help, Curt leaped off the moon and is headed back home to find a new career.
The Card:
I have a lot of different kinds of stamps, but this really isn't my type. High Hopes recently released this, and it is a long story how I came to posess these stamps, which I won't go into here. Who would have known that hardly any time would go by and I would have a use for them!
First, I stamped the background image onto white cardstock. Then, I colored the stars and versamarked them and clear ep them. Then masked the land and the planets and brayered on Bliss Blue and Not Quite Navy. (I am pretty certain when I took Michelle Zindorf's brayering class a week ago, she didn't envision me using her teaching on a card like this!) Uncoverd the land and masked off the sky and took out my new Copic airbrush and painted the hills. I haven't used it much and learned some key things. Don't try to shade until the ink has completely dried! Then I colored the planets and Quentin. Coated the large planet with Star Dust stickles, cut out Quentin, and popped him up. Computer generated the sentiment and sprayed it with green Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.
Whew! Put it together on SU Green Galore and Bazzill Crystal Blue papers, mounted that onto white and done!
As I pondered over today's plot last night, I came up with two ideas. I decided on this one, but I think I'll go ahead and make the other. See ya later!
Thanks for looking!

Wowsers, Anne! This is definitely out of this world wonderful. Except maybe what you did to Quentin, or is it that I see him through rosy colored glasses?!!!
Love all the sparkle and I see that glimmer mist. Can't wait to try that! You were obviously a quick study at Michelle's class. I'm signed up with Peggy-Sue and Brat to attend her class in September. Woohoo!

Your moonscape is wonderful - brayering and foreground. Love the glittery planet too, and that perfect font you found. Quentin the Career's Adviser to the rescue!!

The brayering class paid off, your brayering looks great. What a fun image and story, but I'm curious about the 2 Earths in the sky. Is it the moon or someplace else?
