-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-The flowers are cut out, edges colored with a black marker for more definition and glued to the card.
-The gems are attached with Diamond Glaze (any lacquer product will work). To make the process fast and easy I squeeze a drop of lacquer onto a waxed paper (I repurpose the paper that stickers and labels are purchased on), then touch the end of a large corsage pin to the lacquer then to the back of the gem which picks it up, position it on the image and press down with a finger, there is a little time to slide the gem into position if needed before it sticks tight.
-The decorative checks and reverse scallops is a designer paper border cut out and layered on black cardstock. The narrow strip is cut 1/8” wide and glued to the card base.
-Martha Stewart butterflies are attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue.
Tools: cutting scissors, corsage pin, Martha Stewart – butterflies punch

Wow I love your take on the sketch Roxie! I love your coloring. I have these images and have had a hard time using them - this gives me some inspiration! Thanks!

Your card is beautiful. Your coloring is always great. Way to go repurposing paper and thanks so much for the detailed instructions on gluing those illusive little gems.
