I CASED this card from Heather Summers, StampinÂ’ Up Demonstrator. She posted a video on Youtube on how to make this frog and I fell in love with it! ItÂ’s so cute! He even hops up and down! So, thank you to Heather for this great idea! I changed the card up a bit because IÂ’m making it for my SILÂ’s birthday. Thanks for looking!
I received some requests for instructions for this card. Here we go:
Head: Wide Oval Punch in Old Olive
Eyes: Old Olive: 3/4” circle punch, Whisper White ½” Circle Punch and Chocolate Chip epoxy brads for the pupils
Body: Old Olive: 1 3/8” circle punch and Certainly Celery 1 ¼” Circle
Pom Pom on the hat, Hands and Feet: Boho Blossoms Punch
Legs: Large Oval Punch
All Old Olive pieces were sponged with Old Olive ink
Certainly Celery is sponged with Certainly Celery Ink
Whisper White was sponged with Bashful Blue
Bermuda Bay is sponged with Bermuda Bay ink
Hat is a triangle cut from Melon Mambo CS and embossed with Perfect Polka Dots
Connect legs to body with brads, knees same thing and then the feet so they can pivot. Attach the brad through the leg, then foot, then card so its got something to hold onto. Use sticky strip on the hat since it gets pulled on a lot. Let me know if you have more questions!
