Half sheet c/s size
This is one card that truly made me thankful for my stamp positioner. It really helped to set the gifts, balloons, hat and greeting in place. I couldn’t have it right without it.
The hat is added with the masking technique. I used a metal ruler (Thanks to Beth’s suggestion) to cut the straight lines in the cut out. The plaid area and the area stamped with the greeting are all one piece of c/s. I used two layers of c/s under the cut out section to raise it. The embroidery thread for the balloon strings are attached with tacky glue and a straight pin. For mailing I’ll place c/s or corrugated paper between the card front and envelope to protect the cut out.
October is my turn to mail out the birthday cards for Keiki so this will be one of them.

This is a great cut-out card, I love all the detail! The plaid, squiggles and lines & dots all look cool together, and I like the 3 different gifts in the foreground (frame), and the balloons. Cool! Wow, lots of work stamping, positioning & cutting, but well worth the effort. Thanks for sharing.
