I'm in LOVE with SU's new Vintage Vogue set and decided to make a few cards with it. Here's my card for this Sketch Challenge from two weeks ago. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I started with a Bella Bleu piece of dsp that I trimmed 2/3 and 1/3 portions and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I wrapped the top panel with Kraft Taffeta Ribbon and glued both pieces to the Kraft card base. I used my Big Shot and Ovals Originals Die to cut out a Kraft oval. Onto this panel, I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp the first part of the sentiment and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. (The rest of the sentiment - Love helps - is stamped inside the card.) On Very Vanilla cs, I stamped four flowers with Cameo Coral ink and three leaves with Old Olive cs, cut them out and sponged all edges with Soft Suede ink. Some of the flowers are adhered with Dimensionals and others are glued directly to the oval. I then added Very Vanilla flat-back pearls to the flowers' centers with Mini Glue Dots. The oval itself is adhered with Dimensionals, too.
