Today Julia challenged us to use textiles on our creations.. I LOVE to sew as much as I love cardmaking. I used the new Whimsie Doodles Cloud 9 Leah and Cloud 9 Cupid. Made a stair step card and added lots of clouds. Then I cut a heart out of red fabric flannel with my heart nestie. Added it to a stiff piece of cardstock.
Underneath the card is a towel I made for a friend for Valentines day. Got the towel for a dollar at the dollar store. Cut a strip of fabric and sewed it to the towel. Then made a fabric yoyo and added a heart button. Easy project. Even if you don't sew.
Thanks Julia. This was a great challenge..

Wow, Dawn, not sure which I like best...the card or the towel - lol! I see you're a multi-talented lady! Love the fluffy clouds on the different steps and your images are fabulously colored as always!

Extra credit for you with the towel! You are so very incredibly talented Dawn. This card looks as though it took quite some time and it is so sweet. Love how you incorporated the felt into the project!
