Greetings to all...another week, another Challenge, how quickly they roll round and certainly help to keep my brain busy which is valuable when you are getting older.
I've called this one "Berry" Secret Garden. The central image is a RAK stamp on which I have used "Sepia" and "A Hint of Pesto" inks for the foliage, and have added tiny red berries with Gel pen. The little bird has been black embossed with an Embossing pen and black embossing powder and had his tummy lightly chalked. This round image has then been shaded with Pinecone ink, popped on half dimensionals and placed on on a larger circle of textured wallpaper, also shaded and then edged with black CS circle.
The side flourishes are also RAK, which have also been embossed as above with some green colour added. Little berry embellishments and tiny red beads have been added, which are also placed on the textured circle.
This has then been popped on full dimensionals on green DP with flowers to keep the garden image flowing. The corners are three layers of DP and half popped, with red pearls added, and then placed on dark green CS.
I liked the idea of looking through a break in the foliage to see this little bird in his "secret garden". I hope you like him too. Thank you for looking, and I always value your comments, and your visits to my Gallery.

Hi Mum, I love this too! It is like looking out of one of your windows at the birds in your beautiful garden. You have used the sketch beautifully, love the flourish around the circle and the way you have embellished it! Great vintage corners and love the pearls! Well done Mum, this is a favourite with me! Thanks for playing along with the Midnight Madness sketch Challenge this week, you know we love to see your cards. Don't forget to check back on Friday for the 'Sneak Peek' of next weeks challenge! {{{hugs}}}
