I used green cardstock that had a white core.I embossed it and then sanded it to get the leaves white.Check out some of the other cards I have posted that are done this same way.

I love your card, and would like to try it myself. You mentioned that you used green cardstock that had a white core. Is that some special type of cardstock? Where would I find such cardstock with a white core. Thanks for any information that you can give. Again, a beautiful card.

Sometimes you can find it where paper is sold.Just look at the edge of the paper and if it is white and not the same color as the front and back then it has a white core. What I used is from an old card I received and didn't want to save the card.I tore out the paper greeting that was glued inside on the left side of the card and then cut the right side off and used it.If you were able to see the back of this paper you would see the manufacturer and the bar code.I hope this helps but if not, just send me a message and I'll try and explain better.I recycle a lot of cards this way instead of throwing the whole card away.I use a lot of it for punching our flowers leaves etc.... Look at my gallery and you will see lots of things that are made from recycling old cards.
