Growing up in the fifties saw a very different and
domesticated woman in the house. Values, times,
commitments have changed to the electronic age,
for the on the go mum of today. But back then, in the era of checker squares and lace, I can always remember that my mother wore an apron. So I went outside the box to make this representation Twinchie.

Clever and it brings back memories. My aunt had a "ceremonial" apron that she insisted I wear when she had me frost Christmas cookies. At 93 she was still using that same apron and making cookies for the neighborhood.

I am just 50 this last year, and love wearing an apron when I craft or do a deep clean in the house. It puts me in work mode and seems sort of like a uniform to remind me of what I'm supposed to be doing! Aprons are making a come back and there's even a publication put out by Stampington called Apronology.....this twinchie is just perfect, Norma!

Norma, this is wonderful! I am not yet 40 (close) and I love to collect and wear aprons. I recently purchased a lot of 20 aprons on ebay...like Christmas when they arrived! I hung them like curtains in my kitchen. Not very traditional, but I love them. I think they remind us of a time when values were a bit different. Bravo, my dear.
