We're off to New York City today for our weekly Teapot Tuesday adventure!! We're starting the day off with Breakfast at Tiffany's, and you know what that means: this is gonna be one classy party! da Muddermark says we are to bring what we enjoy, what makes us relax, what makes us feel pampered, happy and or just oozing pure class! You can see the inspiration teapot and get the full details in the Teapot Tuesday forum:
Bertie loves hats and shoes, so she's bringing a bag full of them to share with the tea partiers. We're talking Audrey Hepburn style shoes and hats, too, so you know this will be classy stuff! What better than to pull out my Rubbernecker Fashion Icon stamp set for my creation today.
The shoes are star-studded with red glitter as is the hat with its sparkly flower. Oh, and I'm also bringing rubies for the gals as evidenced by the rubies that are adorning this classy, black quilted (scored) shopping bag (courtesy of my Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge). The sentiment reads: "saw it, loved it, bought it"!!!
Bertie is going to be on her best behavior and is feeling so generous today. She'll be flinging rubies and hats and shoes for all to enjoy!
I hope you'll decide to join the party and play along with us. Just enter keywords MMTPT77 so everyone can see your creation and you can see theirs!

Oooooo....Rubies? Hats? Shoes? Fling some at me Bertie! Well, maybe not the shoes. Ya know, those ones with the pointy toes and heels? Ouch! Charlene, I love this set- so cute! Love the score lined bag, and wonderfully fun tulle. Sweet. Snugs....

Okay, who's the wise-guy that put that teapot on Audrey's head? And I don't care if they did it cuz they were trying to cover up her bee hive dooooo!!
Rut roh! I am beginning to see a trend here......Cathleen started it and you pretending Flirty Bertie is behaving is way too suspect! Did anyone inventory your bag when you arrived cuz now that I think about it, I recall hearing Gertie say.....
Yah, Bertie, that's it! Pull the tissue outa the top a little and with that big ole bow on the handle, no one will suspect a thing! Oh yeah, don't worry, they will all believe you can behave! Besides, just as you are walking out the door I will steal Audrey's teapot off her head and pull it down over Suzanne's head! You just have to run...really fast.....can you do that in those Rubbernecker Shoes??? Okay, I believe you!
This is cake, I tell ya! Ooh...speaking of cake, lets eat!

OOOH Bertie, look at that bag you are sporting today! Gotta love those colours now. Beautiful rubies too, and shoes. Well, I shall pass on them today, because I do need my runners for when it gets "hotter" in here. Get it...I'm coaching Gertie and the others and when this party is over another one will start with all the diamonds we'll be juggling in our bags. Oh yes ladies and ladies, the biggest diamond robbery in the history of the world. And we'll be famous! LOL in prison not doubt, but famous.
You bag is classy and the sentiment so true for a lady who looooves shoes! TFS Charlene.

So glad to see that you are bringing enough to share - that's very generous. And rubies!! I've been making doing with garnets so far, but I'll be happy to add rubies to my collection - better than diamonds any day in my book . What a sweet little bag.

Ohlala, what a snazzy looking bag you have there. I love your shiny red high heels. Those ruby's are just to die for, girl. I sure hope you have a hat in that bag for me, it is my only hope that I will get to stay at the tea party. I love that sentiment.
