Love the look of the brick wall. Thanks for the challenge Toy!.......details....
Got home earlier then usual due to the rain and wind we are having. I had to wear full rain gear. Boy does that make going to the bathroom a real chore. So many extra things to remove and when they are wet, well you get the picture. So when I got home I stamped my sunflowers from Rubbernecker Stamps clear eb them. Colored with prisma pencils and gamsol.
Let's back up a moment, before coloring the flowers I stamped them again a little off to the left with antique linen. Then colored them.
I wanted my brick wall to look like a building, so I put a sidewalk at the bottom with dirt on the other side where I put my planter with sunflowers.
Drew light lines for the bricks so I'd know where to cut. In fact the lines were so light I screwed up a little in the cutting. SO don't look tooooo close. After cutting them I sponged the edges with aged mahogany.
Took a black cs panel and proceeded to "mortar" my bricks down on top of the cs. When done, I made the planter by cutting the shape out, scoring the top edge then sponging the color on. Popped this up.
Needed something a little more. What do sunflowers attract?......BIRDS. So I stamped my bird, colored with Faber Castell Markers, cut out and popped up.
Well, I have to go hook up the pump. The underground one isn't keeping up with the rain puddle and it has started to go in the pool. Yikes! Will return later........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! How's your weather?
