Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Brick Wall Technique.
Now, I have found that when I want to use this technique, it is EASIEST for me to cut my paper in a square. I used a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece for this I scored the focal image at 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2". Then, I TURNED the paper 90 degrees and scored EVERY other line: 1, 3 and 5 at 1/2" and 1 1/2". I scored lines 2 and 4 at 1" and 2".
The image was stamped and sponged. Next, I cut the lines to create the bricks. I used double sided tape to adhere the bricks to the base.
The sentiment and flourish at the bottom were stamped in VersaMark and embossed in Gold. I used a gold pen to edge the layers.
