What a fun challenge this was! I'm already tired of the usual Valentine's Day colors, so I decided to make this a little offbeat and I think I accomplished that. This little set looks so much cuter than the picture shows. Thank you for looking and have a very blessed day. Details on the blog at Cindy Coutts. I used a lot of stuff to do this, believe it or not. Comments after I finish painting the kitchen. I was only going to do an accent wall because of the new stone back splash but ended up going another 2 walls in red paint no less!
Here are a few lessons I'd like to share with you about painting:
1. Don't have your all black cat in the house.
2. Make sure you dust and clean your white baseboards.
3. Keep an eye on the 11-year-old daughter who wants to help make the house pretty and decides to Orange-Glo all of the hardwoods, so now we're all on the verge of breaking our necks when we walk in the house - which is another reason why the newsletter is iffy, I have to get that off of the floors.
4. Do not drink 2 pots of coffee before you paint in red, or any other color. Your hands are not as steady as they should be.
5. Don't wear your favorite white pants.
6. Wear your cheap Wal-Mart magnification reading glasses that you're used to rather than the mono contacts that you're not used to.
7. Order pizza rather than trash the other side of the kitchen by actually cooking dinner!
