The challenge asked to use birds...I'd used all but this bird, recently...but this set is not listed in the gallery...it's old, but I think pretty. I used a gray colored paper for the majority of the card, cut out the birds and setting sun(sponged that with summer sun and pumpkin pie), used the flower with the set, and the other stamp in the set for background with versa mark and white embossing powder. The verse is from Asian Artistry...but I thought it went perfect here, too.

I love your card. It reminds me of the Trumptet Swans that appeared in our lakes this year. I try to get pictures everyday doing different things. Very big and pretty! Anyhow, Is that a stamp...gotta get that. Very pretty!

This reminds me of my grandmother. She lived in Florida for several years and there were all these long-legged birds I had never seen before. A lovely card.

Just put this in my faves-it's just beautiful! I bought this set off ebay, coveted it for a long time until I got it for a reasonable price. I need to dust if off! Love the white bamboo on the gray-it is so soothing! How did you color the birds white?
thanks!
