After attaching the dp to the brown cs base, I ran it through the CB using the Mesh ef, then sanded it lightly to distress it, then sponged the edges with Distress ink and a seasponge. The 2nd layer of dp & brown cs was done in the same manner after punching the LHS with my Threading Water punch. The ribbon was attached before this 2nd layer was popped up on 1mm mounts.
The dinosaur and tree trunks were stamped using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and the palm fronds with Versacolor Bamboo ink. I chalked around the images with my Kaisercolour chalks, then distressed the edges with Distress Ink. I added the aged copper brads before I popped this panel up on 1mm mounts.
For the sentiment panel, I handcut the brown cs circle and ran it thru the CB using the same Mesh ef, sanded it lightly, then attached the wording which was computer-generated because I didn't have anything small enough nor suitable. Then I sponged around the panel with Distress Ink before popping it up on 1.5 mm mounts.
The ribbon is from a set of 5 by Rosebank Creations (Aussie) and is 5/8" wide (17mm) - it was made in 2 separate elements.
Thanks for having a peek at my card!

That ribbon is such a perfect match to the archaic dp - crazy! I love this dp for masculine cards - it really seems perfect. Thanks for all the detail in your description - so nice to read the story than see yet another 'go to my blog'
I love how you've chalked the background - it makes it into a real scene without overpowering the sweet images! (ANd, I love your watermark - too cute!)
