Thank you, Toy, for the Scratch n' Sniff challenge. I have seen this technique done before and knew someone that did it and wasn't too successful; so, I never tried it. Now that I did, I can't believe how very simple this technique is.
Most of the smell on this card comes from the oops! on the clock front. That blotchy spot is where it all is.
I embossed the clock front with soft suede and versamark then added the blotchy spot with craft really rust and sprinkled my scratch n' sniff concoction. I heated it from below, as suggested, and it made it that much more aromatic.
My successful scratch n' sniff powder consists of:
2 parts glassy glaze enamel
1 part International Coffess-Sugar Free: suisse mocha mixed with french vanilla cafe
1 part detail clear with glitter
It has just a little sparkle, but mainly it smells wonderful--just like a mocha latte. I hope it lasts.
Thanks for looking.

Doesn't look like an "oops" to me, Susie. I think your blotchy spot is perfect for the antiqued look of the images and card design.
I will need to try the heat from below idea. My kids and I have done this technique for Valentines, and had a lot of fun with it.
