This is an apple(Open) I made for my sister when she finished her teaching degree ... I cut it in half and used a hinge and clasp to keep it closed .. I added the gold ribbon as well ... I know it is not for Miss Annie but I thought I would add it for his challenge and see what else I can make as well ... She loved getting this instead of a normal card ... It is NOT a real apple -- inside it said -- An Apple -- For The -- Teacher .....

Whut the heck! Whenever I put cardstock in my apples it always gets all soggy, sticky and brown like an apple laying on the orchard floor for 42,000 years! You have most definately mastered this technique my friend! What a lucky sis you have...What a cool project!
I will look forward to another card....that is of course, if you can put off serving your family a meal and clutter the table with your most beloved stamping supplies! Yikes!

Kim, this apple looks so real. This will look great on your sister's desk! Too clever sistah! Hugs...

Very sweet sentiment, lovely insides...better than I imagined when thinking it was real. LOL TFS Kim and please forgive my nuttiness. The doctor said it will never go as long as I attend the teapot parties. So, I guess you are stuck with me.
