| I created this card for 3 challenges. The first challenge is My Time to Craft Challenge #73 which is to use blue and brown. The second challenge is Mojo Monday's Sketch Challenge. The last challenge is Stampin' for the Weekend''s challenge of New Beginnings.
The base of the card is from a pad of designer cards that I got for Christmas. The blue pieces were created by dry embossing lines in a crisscross pattern from a texture block. They are matted on white paper that has been spritzed with Glimmer Mist. I think it looks like a blue jean texture. I punched the bottom panels with the MS doily lace punch. The main image is from CDS. I stamped it on a piece of white paper that was cut and embossed with a nestabilities die. Then I stamped it on a scrap piece of paper and colored it in with chalks. Then I cut out and attached Charlie's head and tail with pop dots. I also went along the embossed edge of the circle with blue chalk to create a bit of a blue mat. Lastly, I attached everything to the card and added the ribbon and brown jewels. |
