After a very long (too long, if you ask me) time away from playing along with SCS challenges due to work obligations, I am *so* pleased to be able to play with today's Ways to Use It challenge!! WT252 was to create something with some new goodies. How fun was that!!
My new goodies: some great sports-themed brads and an adorable little set of alphabet stamps that my SCS buddy Meredith (Crafty Math Chick) was oh so generous to surprise me with, along with some other wonderful goodies, for the holidays!! Thanks so much, Meredith!! I have been truly inspired by all these fun new goodies!!
Anyway, I used the alphabet stamps (they look like little wooden alphabet blocks) to create the sentiment for the inside of the card: "HAVE A BALL!". I laid it out in front of the card for my photo before adhering it inside. I'm not sure if you'll be able to really read it in my photo. Might be the wrong angle. Sorry! Also, the largest of the three clustered brads is my new sports brad with a football on it--again, not sure if you can see it in the photo OK or not.
This card also uses this week's sketch challenge, SC262. It was a fun one!!
It was so fun to take part in a challenge again!! Thanks for looking!
Emily

Welcome back, Emily. Love this male card as I am always needing inspiration for these. Bet the sporty guy in your life will love this. Love your grass, too.

Very cute. I'm always looking for football cards as DH is a high school official and I like to make Christmas cards for his crew. This would be perfect, so into my favs for future CASEing.

Glad you got to come back and play again! It is really hard when you can't get to enjoy the challenges. I see the sentiment and the football in the brad.
Good job on the grass and a super masculine birthday card!

What fun! I have saved this to my faves as two of my nephews are avid football fans/players and I always seem to be stuck for ideas when it comes to making them cards. Love the bounce line and the cut grass. Great fun. Thanks for stopping by my lonely gallery - it seems we've both come back to the gallery today after a lengthy absence! Looks like you have some great cards - I shall pop back for a longer visit soon!

You are such a sweetie Emily. Glad you like the goodies! LOL! I love how you created the grass and you made the alphabet letters look like varsity letters - WAY cool!
