Well - I needed to catch up on several challenges - so take a deep breath......... my litle purse was made for the color challenge - using celery, teal and hunter green (the big button IS really hunter green but looks black in the pic!)
And I used the Grid Technique on the Bazzill card stock which was Charlene's (Lilluvsstampin) Doubledog Dare Challenge for us this week.
Going shopping makes me happy and that was Francie G's DDC challenge to us last week to make a card or project showing what makes you happy!
AND the Mudder's back (YAY!!) with her Teapot challenge. We're all going to Dodge City to help Miss Kitty find a new man - my plan is that she'll use this pretty purse when she hits the streets for the nightlife - appropriately enough, the teal brad on the button is from the Urban Prairie set by Basic Grey!
ETA: JoJot wondered what Miss Kitty would put in her little purse - I think she'll just slip her silver Derringer inside to ward off any unwelcome advances from certain gentlemen!!
I found the tutorial for this cute top note purse here

Oh my! You could not have brought a better gift for Miss Kitty. Just yesterday she was whining that the General Store never has any trendy purses the perfect size to hide her Derringer! She quite possibly will never think of a man again, her mind is no longer on her beau troubles! She's off and running, on-line shopping. She has heard that Derringers now come diamond studded, pearl handles, some hot pinks, beautiful blues, and very sexy black patton leather! Heck, she already has her wonderful green one! Who needs a man, well except for needing something to shoot! Where did you say the shooting range was located? Snort!
You rock Julia! And this purse is to die for! Literally! Giggle!
Hugs to you!!!

What a perfect little purse for Miss Kitty. I am sure she has very stylish taste, and this will be just what she needs when she manages to pin Matt down to a date for a night out...or whoever else she settles for if Matt is still work-obsessed.
