Hi! This is the card I made for today's color challenge: certainly celery, handsome hunter and bermuda bay (with pink for dessert#. Whew! What a tough time I had with this one! I wouldn't have thought that these colors would go together, but they do!!
When I pulled out the respective cs, I immediately thought of the sea. Of course, I might have made the connection because 1 of the colors is CALLED Bermuda Bay!! LOL!! At any rate, I decided to do a sea scape.
I figured this scene could incorportate all of the colors needed. The sea grass could be celery, the water Bermuda Bay of course, and the chair could be handsome hunter. When I tried that the first time, though, the chair was too dark, and the grass felt too one dimensional. So I started again, using sage shadow with the hh to lighten the chair, and old olive with the cc to give the grass more dimension. It worked well. Then I added in the sunset/rise #whichever# since I wanted to add PINK!! Voila! The scene was completed.
After mounting the scene on black, cc and bermuda bay, I cuttlebugged a piece of handsome hunter cs with a swirl design #reminiscent of the waves?), added the sentiment, and the card was complete.
Thanks for looking, and have a great day!!
