Check out the great sketch from http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
Needing a baby boy card I though this little cherub would be perfect, but it was supposed to be a Christmas stamp. So I modified it - My apologies to the designer. http://www.damourallure.com/ But I love it like this. I stamped the image in gold and colored it with markers. Cut it out with my Nestibilities inverted scalloped die and trimmed around one side to get the Christmas off. Then I cut another inverted scallop out of yellow to put behind it. I cut some stars out of my dry embossing folder of stars from Cuttlebug. Cut the bird that had a Christmas stocking in his mouth out and relived him of the stocking. I popped the hat, the wings and the shoes of the cherub. Added some stickles, ribbon, corners -- Voila!! Oops!! I forgot to do an envelope - I will before I give it away at the shower.

Phyllis this is so pretty. I love all the gold! Your addition of the stars is ingenious. The embossing is superb and adds to the design elements. I will be taking some liberties on my stamp as well....LOL That is how you stretch your stamping $$$$... Great job this week DT Sister.

What a beautiful baby card! Love the stars you added and the wonderful sparkle. This would be so pretty on an easel in the nursery.
