I got Verve's Forever in our Hearts set just before Christmas and hadn't had a chance to play yet so when I saw this inspiration piece I immediately thought of this image with the bird. I inked the stamp up with markers then stamped on Whisper White. I coloured over a lot of the image with matching SU markers to make it pop a bit more then watercoloured the grass and sponged Soft Sky ink around the edges of the oval. The sentiment was stamped in Blue Bayou. The pearls are from Basic Grey.
Although I don't need a sympathy card at the moment, it's always useful to have a supply of a range of cards just in case they're needed...

So much easier to make sympathy cards when you don't need them, and this one is so lovely. The splash of red in with the peacock colours is just great.
