This will be me around 12:01 tonight. I always PLAN on staying up but for some strange reason I doze off only to be awakened by fireworks going off either on the TV or outside......Today it is all about time....details on my card....
We have an old neon clock that looks like this one ONLY it doesn't have a mouse snoozing on the hands of the clock bending them because he is on the chubby side. I thought he'd look cute stretched out on the hands of time snoozing away. Hope those hands bend back into shape once he wakes up and moves on to some place other than inside my clock!
I made the clock by cutting several various sizes of circles, sponged with watermelon and stacked up. On the bottom circle I ran a silver leafing pen around the edges to look more like the original clock.
In the center, I drew the clock face and snoozing mouse. Colored with copics, versa marked and clear ep'd several times. Put this behind the stacked clock face. Set aside.
On a white card I put a left over piece of stamped and clear eb gingham from the SC challenge yesterday. Added a few doodle lines cuz I couldn't handle all the white. Put a large silver pearl on the corner and a small one on the clock for the on and off switch. Pearls are from Peggy-Sue.
Popped up my clock, added the "think cloud with Zzzzz's" and said done. Well, hope you have a wonderful safe night and a fantastic New Year!....TFL :0)

You are one creative MutNut, Ms. Cathy! And I suspect that I lack your creative genius because before reading your narrative I saw your little guy taking a spin through a front-loading washing machine. Kind of a mouse version of a spa perhaps? Which is why he looks so happy?
Yikes, does that make me a bit of a whacko? And am I actually admitting to it?
Matters not. I love your creation and that's the important thing!
