My little birdie stepped out for just a second and low and behold the snow came. Almost snowed him in. hehe ......what a fun project today. This little birdhouse was super easy and very fun to make...details.....
Printed out my template then cut it out. Stamped the trees and pine cones, colored with re-inkers. Stippled the blue for a sky look. Stippled versa mark here and there white ep it. Thus "the blizzard" title.
Punched out a MS fence but before cutting it off the cs I stamped it with a crackle bg stamp, sponged tea dye and versa mark then white ep. Put my fence on a white cs base. Stippled green on the white base.
Put my blizzard birdhouse inside the fence. Took some red cs, added scor lines, sponged with versa mark then white ep for snow. Put it on my birdhouse.
Stamped the birdie three times, clear ep and colored with sharpie pens. Cut out and glued all three together. Added a wooden skewer stick to the birdhouse and put my birdie on it. Hope you like my take on the challenge today. What fun!....TFL :0)

What a pretty little birdhouse! You did soo good. I love the little platform for it too. This little birdie has a happy home to stay out of the blizzard now. Thank you for sharing Cathy.
Note: About my little Itty on top the Christmas tree, well he can't fly, he's just holding on tight until somebody gets him down. LOL

Wonderful!! I love the little aged fence, colourful bird and snowy scene. Your stamping directly on the birdhouse walls makes me think of murals. DH has been to visit friends in Mozamique, where they run a school. One of the directors of the mission is a great artist, and painted lovely great big murals on some of the outside walls of the school buildings.
I like your skewer perch too - I was looking for the end of the broken knitting needle I used up last week, but it was AWOL.
