I was looking out of my window late on Saturday afternoon and we had a gentle snowfall. I have a tree in my garden that looks just like the branch out tree. This inspired me to create this card. I also found that the palspaperarts challenge this week is winter wonderland... so perfect for my card.
I stamped the tree with white embossing powder and then used the snowflake from the branch out set and embossed that all over the card with iridescence ice.
It was pretty tough to get a good pic of the card, as my tent lights tend to pick up the warmer colors in the II - but under normal lights, it picks up the cooler colors :-)
I put the Night of Navy layer onto Whisper White card stock. A little grosgrain ribbon and an organza bow, two rhinestones and the new year sentiment finished off the card.
Once I'd finished, it looked just like the tree in my garden and the snow falling. :-)
thanks so much for looking and happy holidays
