This is for TLC252 to create a Merry Birdhouse. Thank you, Brenda, for sharing this sweet template. I had so much fun creating mine. I also used the Faux Wood technique that we learned a few years ago in the TLC challenge. For the life of me I couldn't find the number to list here. Sorry. I used an artist pen to create sketched lines to represent the boards of the little birdhouse and painted with distress reinker mixed with water. I added a little red roof with scallops cut on the side over hangs. I added berries and punched greenery to the perch and to the hanger tie on the roof and added snow for a festive look. This is going to go hang on my tree tonight. Thanks for a fun challenge.

If this doesn't ever look just perfect for the garden, with your great faux wood. I wondered about using snow - it sure looks good. And your punched leaves - it's funny, I must have seen them so often before. But the way you've used them here, they are just like some of the trees we had in the garden growing up, and a couple of years when some needed trimming, we just cut the tops off for our non-traditional Christmas trees. Looking at your lovely little birdhouse brings back the lovely smell.
