Hi! This card/Teabag/Recipe Card combo was made for today's Stampin' B's Challenge Red Divas Challenge and today's Ways to Use it Challenge:Cooking Up a Challenge. Participants were to use a recipe in some way with a card...I made the recipe card and Tea Bag holder.
So, when I saw this challenge I thought of the card I made for the Stampin' B's challenge with the Tea for Two set and thought about my great grandmother's cookbook. She HAND WROTE it for us, and I it is full of funny little sayings and recipes that are super easy. On the front of my book it says, "To Faith, the laziest cook on the planet!" She made sure the word LAZY was in EVERY recipe title! I went with her recipe for ME for Peppermint Tea today. It all fits on the ATC!
The images were stamped and cut out. I used Copics to color in the teapots. I paper pieced in the centers. They were adhered with glue dots to the base. The charms are a "tea set" of tea bag, teapot and cup. I made the teabag holder. There REALLY is a Family Size Teabag in it! LOL

I think I will pass......I am the ONLY person I know who hates peppermint. When I was a kid, my brother used to take all my other candy and give me his peppermint!! Still doesn't work for me! Can I substitute cinnamon stix?? Your card is fun. Guess I'll have to do the StampinB's challenge today too!

Very beautiful card. Can you make mine either Green or black tea.... I am just not into those fancy tea's. I do like peppermint though... I will eat the sticks separate from the tea....
This is really sweet! I wondered what your take on the Cooking up a Challenge would be, since I love looking at your cards. This would be sweet as a Get Well card, too! Thanks for sharing!
