I needed two cards to hold gift cards and this challenge with stars was right up my alley. It only had to have a star and ribbon, no embellishments and limited layers, if any. Ck it out : Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I needed a star and I thought of baby Jesus! He is the star this season! I remembered a manger in the stamp set-All God's Children. I colored the rubber with markers since I did not want the heart or the verse to show. I had another manger from Quickutz that had the perfect star for my art. cut that out in a gold, a teeny tiny scrap that was laying on my counter. Punched the bottom with a border punch, ran ribbon through it and then inserted the card holder inside.
Don't know if you can see the holder well--it will be on my blog Dec 13th. http://cardologyetc.blogspot.com/
