On Frances' Byrne's blog (stampowl here on SCS), I came across a Beanie Gift Card holder and it was so cute that I wanted to CASE it. See this link: http://stampowl.blogspot.com/2009/12...ry-bright.html - scroll down the page to see it. Frances had CASE'd it from Carolina - see this link: http://creativepad.typepad.com/creat...der-video.html With Frances' and Carolina's permission, here is my CASE of the Beanie Gift Card Holder. I made it for my nephew except that I am tucking some money into it instead of a Gift Card.
I made a 2 circles 65mm (5") in diameter - one on the dp and the other on white cs, then cut them both in half. I attached the dp to the cs then ran it thru the CB using my Snowflakes ef to add some texture to the hat. I ran my Royal blue ink around the edges of the hat. The beanie cuff was made with Crushed Velvet cs (it feels so lovely) which I ran thru my CB using the Swiss dots ef. I rounded the corners with my corner punch. The sentiment is from my JustRite: A merry little Christmas set & was stamped using Royal blue pigment ink and embossed with clear ep. I diecut/punched the circles & attached a brad thru the border circle to the bottom LH corner of the cuff, then placed the sentiment circle on the top with 1mm mounts to hide the brad.
The snowflakes on the beanie top were diecut with my CB using the Snowflakes die and I added Frosted Lace Stickles 'cos you HAVE to have glitter on everything, don't you?!! The snowflakes were attached with a brad which only goes thru the top panel. If you check out my photo of the inside, that will make sense if it doesn't already.
The ribbon bow was made with my Bow Easy.
Thanks for having a peek

I thought this pic looked a little bit lonely as the other one you have posted is getting all the comments! So I decided to be a rebel and leave my comment here!
I can't tell you how much I love everything about this! I have'nt looked at the link you cased it from yet but you have obviously done them proud!
My fave part has to be the colour scheme you used and the snowflake embellishments you made for the top of the hat!
I have some frosted lace Stickles so I am off now to root it out! You've inspired me!
