This is my card for today's LSC, but it also qualifies for yesterday. Also for yesterday - I was listening to a CD of carols while I was making it. When Lo He Comes With Clouds Descending was playing, I was deeply wailing that I didn't have any thinner watercolour paper as I broke one and then a second blade cutting out that silhouette.
This fits a business envelope. I cut the silhouette from watercolour paper, misted with water and used a mop brush to add a watercolour wash. Same for the background, but I used Ultramarine and Cobalt Blue drawing inks. Added Versamark and black EP to the sides and top edge.
My star - whoever heard of a gold snowflake - is Spellbinders Snowflake 1, covered with several layers of gold EP. My ribbon, such as it is, hangs the star from the sky. I wasn't sure if ribbon was compulsory or optional, so I played safe.
