A few tidbits about this card: I figured it would have to be really cold for a SNOWMAN to need a sweater! I have a lot of paper that I can't use for it's intended purpose, including this 'baby' paper - all of my friends are too old to be new moms and too young to be grandmas - so I re-purposed it for the 'baby' part of the song title. I used the Faux Suede technique to paper-piece the sweater for some fuzzy texture. The snowflakes, hearts and star are cut from velvet ribbon with a Martha Stewart punch and a Cuttlebug die, and there's a bit of stitching there. Fun challenge, and I have at least one more card in my head for it - maybe later tonight or sometime tomorrow...? Thanks for looking!

Awesome card--great thinking using the paper. He is darling. Question, how did you do the faux suede? The person that gets this card will be very lucky. I live in Minnesota so this card really fits right now. [email protected]

This has put such a smile on my face this morning - jumped out of the gallery. How clever to use up baby paper for the background, and I can just imagine the lovely feel of his faux suede sweater. Along with the stitching and felt this must be a delight to hold and feel, as well as to look at. Into my favourites he hops.
