Okay, I love this week's sketch, but even more - I love Roxie's take and design on this card so much I cased her's. Sure hope you don't mind, Roxie. Here is Roxie's and this week's sketch:
I always have such a difficult time coming up with ideas and layouts to use for men, and I thought this was a good "generic" sketch that could be used for both men and women. I chose tan, brown, and black for background papers (bazzill) hoping it would be a little more masculine. Roxie's tutorial with her card was great, but I still have a very difficult time using a brayer. It is only the second time I've used this technique and frankly I am very intimidated by it.
I used a hodge-podge of ink pads. The sky is a combination of Versacolor lt. orange and Studio G red. The mountains/hills is a combination of Color Box cocoa and Stampabilities brown. I used SU Upsy Daisies for the foreground silhouette.
Appreciate your looking and hope you like it.
