Megan is my 4 year old grand daughter and she picked all the elements of this box right down to the colors. She saw a 'purse' that I had made at a SU card camp and HAD to have one. Hello Kitty was in my pink folder and that was the start of Megan's creation. I did the work, but she made all the choices. The purse opens flat and you can see more pics on my blog. Megan wanted one of the two boxes inside to hold pens and stuff so I made it taller than the other. The cat is holding a computer mouse in her mouth, but Megan said kitties don't play on the computer, they play with yarn. So I glued some 'yarn' to cover the 'mouse'. And then added some stickles for eyes and the collar. Megan is all about the sparkles! She can use a bottle of stickles on one card--if I let her! I used dimensionals behind the 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 gingham frame and to pop up the oval nesties. The 'yarn' is a cotton string that came on a huge cone with 755 yards. http://cardologyetc.blogspot.com/
