I wanted to make a similar birthday card for my FIL. He drives a US Postal truck, this is the closet I have to a truck. I started with GP white cs as the base of the card. I traced the pattern of the curve onto basic black cs, cut out and added white lines for the road with a white gel pen. I sponged the sky with bordering blue ink, stamped the sun with more mustard for the circle using Little Shapes. I masked the trees with black stazon. I then stamped the grass with black stazon, sponged with old olive ink then went over the weeds with an old olive marker. I stamped the truck with black stazon, colored with SU markers, cut out and added mini gray brads for the wheels. I stamped the presents with black stazon, colored & cut out. My husband's idea to stamp the presents again, cut them and have them falling out of the truck....luckily I had tiny 3D dots. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon & used the medium circle punch.

How fun - I am positive your FIL will love it! It has such a whimsical touch - those are the best cards to me.
