Another piece I've had 'almost done' for at least a couple of years. I found a pretty shimmer purple paper so dug this sponged/stamped piece out of my "In Progress" box to finally finish it off. It's hard to see in the photo, but the base card is a solid black with the purple and stamped/sponged panel attached.
I had sponged the sky with the blue and purple inks, with a touch of pink -- dragging the sponge to get the streaky effect. A torn piece of paper and black ink for sponging created the ground, and then the trees were stamped with the same black ink.
Funny how a new sheet of paper can open up possibilities. :-)
