This is for FS146 and Birgit (Biggan) is our guest artist. Congratualtions, Birgit. I have long admired Birgit's work and can most usually pick it out of the gallery without even seeing her name. She has a wonderful style that brings warmth and a vintage feel to so much of her work. I was inspired by this project. Color Challenge by Biggan at Splitcoaststampers The depth and color is so gorgeous and I love her children images. I was inspired by the layout and her use of a boy and girl. I changed the color combinatation, the image and the seasonal theme. I chose to play with Elzybells Carolers and masked one of the three carolers off so I could use just the boy and girl. I love these bright colors. The stamped image comes with large black circles for falling snow and I don't really like those so I chose to cover them up with large dots of white craft ink and embossed with white ep. I painted white craft on the ground area and embossed with white powder and then adhered a light layer of Flower Soft.
