 | | There are lots of wonderful cards using this tree image with the thumping technique, but this beauty by LynniePoo especially inspired me:

The markers I used for the leaves are: Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Dusty Durango. The branches and trunk are Soft Suede. To add some shine and dimension, I colored over the leaves, branches and trunk with a clear Glaze pen. Unfortunately, you can't really see it in the photo, but in certain light it's a nice effect. For the shadow beneath the tree I sponged with River Rock ink. The focal image is popped up on dimensionals.
The Dusty Durango layer is embossed with SU's Perfect Details texture plate, then sponged with Dusty Durango and Soft Suede. I also sponged Soft Suede on the Soft Suede card base.
Finished size is 5 x 6 1/4 inches. |
