 | | Marilynn as Hostess you set such a lovely table! .. what a pretty little Tea Pot! This is my very first time here so I would like to start by saying Hi to everyone! I was really excited that my very first Challenge was with Cardinals! I have had so many of them in my back yard... they bring their babies to play under the big oak in the back and even come up on my deck and sing to me. Of course spoiling them with 3 bird feeders, a bird bath and suett in my tree must make them feel right at home dontcha' think! I even put peanut butter on bagels, dip them in bird seed and hang them in the tree as a special treat! I hope my card can convey the Joy they bring me when I look outside and happen to catch one sitting on a branch as lovely as can be!
I stamped my cardinal and branch onto two pieces of confetti white paper.. I used my Bic Mark Its (which are kind of like using Copics) then I fussy cut one and laid it over the first image with my SU dimensionals.
I was asked where the ribbon is from .. I purchased it from last years Oct 08 - Jan 09 Holiday mini! You can still get some for yourself even though the mini has expired though... you can find it online at the SU Clearance Rack for $6.99 regularly $14.99 for 3 rolls, it's called Alpine Original! |
